When Is a VMP Required?

Councils and consent authorities across NSW frequently require a VMP as a condition of approval for developments that impact native vegetation. This is especially common for residential subdivisions adjoining bushland, infrastructure projects near riparian corridors or significant vegetation, developments with biodiversity offset or conservation requirements, and projects involving bush regeneration or revegetation as part of their approval conditions.
